The 4th full length Terrafractyl album 'Squares within Squares'.
After a big break between releases here is some more ultra melodic, psychedelic music for the dancefloor. As always taking plenty of inspiration from Classical music and Jazz/funk, this release is a touch more experimental and there is a slightly darker vibe to some of these tracks.
I always try to infuse some kind of theme/philosophy into an album and in contrast to the tech Optimism of my earlier albums 'Chrysalis' and 'Electronic Evolution', This one attempts to describe some of the darker sides to the increasingly digital way we live our lives.
The interesting ways in which we were communicating and coordinating together online have been hijacked and repurposed by monopolistic companies and weaponised to help their profit margins.
Now, even more since AI started making a real impact, The lines between reality and unreality are getting pretty blurry.
Determining what is real and what is not seems to be getting harder every day and will only continue to get worse with time.
Luckily we still have some tools to bust through some of the walls, and to see some of these realities from different perspectives...
